Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of Panobit, LLC ("Panobit," "we," "us," or "our") services, including web hosting, managed hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, and other cloud services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy.
2. General Use Restrictions
Customers must use Panobit's services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal activities, including fraud, hacking, and unauthorized access.
- Hosting or distributing malicious software, including viruses, worms, or botnets.
- Engaging in or facilitating any form of spam, phishing, or deceptive email practices.
- Hosting or linking to pirated content, including software, music, movies, and games.
- Using Panobit services for activities that promote violence, hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
- Operating any service that facilitates denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, hacking tools, or other cyber threats.
- Running cryptocurrency mining applications on shared hosting, VPS, or dedicated servers without written approval.
- Using excessive system resources that negatively impact the stability of Panobit's infrastructure.
3. Shared Hosting Policy
Shared hosting customers must adhere to the following limits:
- CPU usage must not exceed 25% for more than 60 seconds.
- No more than the plan specified number of inodes per account.
- No file storage services (e.g., backups, torrents, or large media hosting).
- Prohibited applications: game servers, proxy servers, or IRC bots.
- No hosting of adult content or materials violating copyright laws.
4. VPS & Dedicated Server Policy
VPS and Dedicated Server customers have more flexibility but must adhere to Panobit's AUP, including:
- Strict compliance with email spam and bulk messaging policies.
- No open proxies, VPN services used for illegal purposes, or TOR exit nodes.
- Any DDoS attacks originating from a VPS or dedicated server will result in immediate termination.
- Customers are responsible for securing their servers, including firewall configurations and software updates.
5. Email Usage Policy
Customers using email services provided by Panobit must comply with the following:
- Mass emailing is limited to 500 emails per hour.
- Bulk email campaigns must use double opt-in lists.
- No use of email services for spam, phishing, or misleading advertising.
- No sending of emails that impersonate another person or entity.
6. Torrenting & Peer-to-Peer Sharing
Panobit strictly prohibits the use of its services for:
- Hosting or seeding torrents containing copyrighted material.
- Operating public or private torrent trackers.
- Using excessive bandwidth for illegal P2P sharing.
7. Network & Security Violations
Any attempt to compromise the security or integrity of Panobit's infrastructure will result in immediate termination. This includes:
- Port scanning, brute force attacks, or unauthorized system access.
- Using hacking tools, exploits, or network sniffers.
- Engaging in activities that degrade Panobit's network performance.

9. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a written warning.
- Account Suspension: Accounts found violating the policy will be temporarily suspended.
- Termination: Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate account termination.
- Legal Action: In cases of illegal activities, Panobit reserves the right to report the issue to authorities.
10. Reporting Violations
If you believe a Panobit customer is violating this AUP, please report it to abuse@panobit.com.
11. Changes to This Policy
Panobit reserves the right to update this AUP at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
